The winter course
Results of the Byron Bay Freeriders Cycling Club Road Races on Sunday, 14th September, along Myocum Rd, Mullumbimby. Results: A Grade -1st Neale McLennan (NRCC), 2nd David Boutkan (BBF), B grade - Tony Clarke (NRCC), 2nd Frank Day (NRCC), 3rd Chris Hackett (BBF), & C grade - 1st Casey Clarke (NRCC), 2nd Ian McCallum (NRCC,) 3rd Glen Lawler. Thanks to those dedicated officials & cyclists that ventured out into the windy morning for the race. The next Byron Bay Club race will be the Criterium Series starting on a date in November, yet to be confirmed.

Results: A/B grade - 1st Harry Hetherton (CATS), 2nd John Guy (M'bah), 3rd David Boutkan (BBF) (with 1st B grader Brendan Costigan), & C grade - 1st Sandon Watts (NRCC), 2nd Ian McCallum (NRCC,) 3rd Glen Hannan (BBF).
The route
The route for the winter course has been set up on the bikely site. This route starts at Mullumbimby which is about 20 km from Byron Bay. For the 2008 race, the Tyagarah loop was not included.
